PROCEDURE FOR ABU TRANSCRIPT REQUEST
ABU Zaria transcript rates:
Local Transcript delivery (within Nigeria) – 10,000.00 NGN
International transcript delivery (outside Nigeria) – $120 or its equivalent in naira
Those applying for transcript to foreign based institutions are required to make cash payment of $120 or its equivalent in naira at the University Cash Office. You can make e-payment alternatively, e-payment of $120 could be made on a remita platform through: https://www.remita.net.

After obtaining the payment receipt, proceed to the Exams Office Room 112, on the 1st floor of the Senate building in the Samaru, main campus.
At the Exams Office, you are expected to pick and complete a transcript request form. The completed form should be submitted to the Dean’s Office of your faculty.
Remember to write down at the back of payment receipt, the appropriate address of where the transcript is to be sent and your GSM number, before submission.
PROCEDURE FOR ABU CERTIFICATES COLLECTION
Graduands intending to collect their Certificate (s) are required to make cash payment of Eight Thousand Naira (N8,000.00) at the Ahmadu Bello University Micro Finance Bank. Post graduands with first degree (s) obtained from ABU Postgraduate and have evidence of membership registration with ABU Alumni Association are to pay Four Thousand Naira Only (N4,000.00) for Certificate processing fee.
Visit the Directorate of University Advancement website: https://dua.abu.edu.ng/alumni-registration/ to fill the alumni registration form.
Note: You are to print out the email send to your mail box at completion and bring it along with you, for those that have not fill the alumni data form.
The payment is to be made using 3 tellers for the sum of N4,000.00 for certificate processing fee, N2,000.00 for the Directorate of University Advancement and, N2,000.00 for membership of National Alumni Association.
After payment, you are to submit copies of the tellers for the Directorate of University Advancement and the Alumni Association to the registration officer in the Directorate of University Advancement, Room 26 Opp. Senate building who shall issue payment receipts.
You will then proceed to the Cash Office, at the ground floor of the Senate Building to present the third teller of N4,000.00 to enable you to collect a receipt of payment made to the Academic Office as certificate processing fee.
You are to then obtain a screening form from the Exams Office, in Room 112, first floor of the Senate Building, which you will fill and return with relevant documents such as original copy of statement of results if collected, receipts of cash payments made, and the University identification card.
You will then proceed to the 3rd floor, Room 305 Senate Building, for screening, after which you will return to Room 112 at the Senate Building with proper identification to finally collect the certificate.
PROCEDURE FOR ABU TRANSCRIPT AND CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION
Local transcript and certificate verification (within Nigeria) – N5,000.00
International transcript and certificate verification (outside Nigeria) -$60 or its equivalent
For local transcript and certificate verification request, applicants are to make a payment of N5,000.00 at the University Cash Office or make e-payment of the same amount via the remita platform: https://www.remita.net while verification request of transcripts and certificate from foreign based institutions attracts a payment of $60 or its equivalent at the University Cash Office of make e-payment of the same amount via remita platform through: https://www.remita.net.
